A DAD whose baby was savaged by a fox demanded action last night to prevent another child being mauled.
Paul Dolan, 27, spoke out as little Denny left hospital five days after his bitten-off finger was reattached. The five-week-old boy also suffered facial wounds but has now been reunited with relieved Paul and mum Hayley Cawley, 28.
Roofer Paul said: “This has been our worst nightmare.
“Thankfully, Denny’s made a really good recovery but I would hate this to happen to anyone else — something must be done to stop fox attacks in people’s homes.”
Denny was asleep on a living room sofa when the fox crept into his home in Bromley, South East London. Hayley rushed to free him as he was dragged along the floor.
Meanwhile, expectant mums are being warned to beware of a fox seen prowling the grounds of a maternity unit at Manchester’s Wythenshawe Hospital.
