This is why you should agree that there are generational curses... A serial Karoi rapist, who raped a 15-year-old schoolgirl while awaiting trial for raping another married woman, has been jailed for 16 years.
Obert Guguta (39) of Tollington Farm in Karoi could have been serving 27 years in jail after being convicted of breaking into a neighbour’s house and raping his wife while their children watched.

He was, however, released on bail. Sometime in May 2011, Guguta followed a then 15-year-old girl to the pastures where she had gone to herd cattle and raped her. Guguta appeared before Chinhoyi regional magistrate Mr Never Katiyo who found him guilty of rape. He slapped Guguta with an 18- year-jail term before setting aside two years.
However, prosecutor Ms Farai Zacharia highlighted to the court that Guguta was slapped with another 11-year jail term before ruling that the 11 years would run concurrently with the effective 16-year term.
Prosecutor Ms Zacharia told the court that sometime in 2011 Guguta followed the girl to the grazing land where she was herding cattle. He ambushed her and chased her as she tried to run away before raping her.

A man who allegedly slit a woman's throat and ripped her stomach open before removing her private parts and offering them for sale, is today expected to stand trial at the High Court.

The alleged murderer, Lazarus Kurapxi, savagely killed Marble Marufu in a suspected ritual murder case.

According to the State case, Marufu's brutal murder occurred on November 30 2009 at Chisaki Farm in Chinhoyi. The State alleges on the day in question Kurapxi allegedly visited the farm and lured Marufu, who knew him, from Botas Farm ostensibly to accompany him to Lions' Den along Mhangura Road. Along the way it is alleged, Kurapxi diverted Marufu into a bushy area where he produced a pocket knife, grabbed and slit her throat before ripping her stomach open, killing her instantly.

Upon realising she was dead, Kurapxi allegedly chopped Marufu's two fingers from the right hand, two toes from the right foot, her private parts and portions of the inner part of her left knee. Kurapxi then covered the body with tree branches and disappeared from the scene after securing the removed body parts in a plastic bag, it is alleged.

The following day, Kurapxi allegedly proceeded to Mumi Farm near Chinhoyi where he met the farm owner, Deon Bezuidnhout and produced a plastic bag from his pocket telling him he was selling a woman's private parts.

Perturbed by Kurapxi's alleged merchandise, Bezuidnhout informed his foreman Marckriel Chauruka who then called members of the neighbourhood watch committee leading to Kurapxi's arrest.

Upon being interrogated by the police, Kurapxi allegedly led the officers to Chisaki Farm where he showed them Marufu's decomposed body. After visiting the scene of the murder, police recovered a lady's shoe and further observed the body had been mutilated and some parts were missing

3 Unemployed Youths Arraigned For Alleged Rapè Of 4 Ladies...........

Three unemployed youths on Monday appeared before an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for alleged rapè of four ladies after a birthday party.

The accused persons are Ade Doyin, Awolabi Mohammed, and Adeleke Atanda, all aged 23 years and residents of No. 3 Ayinde Akinmade Street, Lekki Phase 1.

They are standing trial on an eight-count charges of conspiracy, rapè, theft and malicious damage.

Prosecutor Okete Ejime told the court that the accused persons committed the offences on March 1, at about 3:30am at their residence.

He said that the ladies were aged between 22 and 25 years.

“The accused persons, who invited the ladies for a birthday party, unlawfully had sèxual intercourse with them after the party.

Ejime said that the accused persons “detained’’ the ladies, damaged their clothes, rapèd them and stole their jewellery and money to the tune of N287,000.

He said that the offences contravened Sections 144, 258, 285, 348 and 409 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Lagos State, 2011.

The accused persons, however, pleaded not guilty.

The Magistrate, Mr A.A. Adefulire, granted bail to them in the sum of N200, 000 with two sureties in like sum.

He adjourned the case to March 26, for mention

Bullied boy dies after schoolyard punch in the face............

A young boy who had just turned 12 on Saturday was taken off life support Sunday and his family, friends and community mourn the tragic incident. The bullied boy dies after being punched in his schoolyard, which apparently caused him to start having seizures. Philly.com reports the details of Bailey O'Neill's tragic death on March 4.
Bailey O'Neill was a sixth-grader who was allegedly hit by a classmate at the school on Jan. 10. He apparently was being bullied by two students and one of them punched him in the face, causing a concussion and breaking his nose. A few days later, he began having violent seizures, and doctors put him into a medically induced coma. Sunday he passed away after being removed from life support.
No charges have been filed in the assault, and investigators have been reviewing a video of the incident. A third boy who was visible seemingly did not take part in the assault. The school district is said to be cooperating with the Darby Township police, though few details had been released about the investigation until now.
Several thousand people have been involved in the Prayers for Bailey O'Neill Facebook page, which is not run by the family. The family is, of course, devastated by Bailey O'Neill's death, and the community and those following the case mourn the tragedy now that news broke that the bullied boy died.
